Dear Members of the Community,
On April 22, 2012, Ben Provisor won the United States Olympic Wrestling Team Trials at 74kg in Iowa City, Iowa. He has earned the opportunity to represent our community and country this summer at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England. My purpose for writing this letter is to ask area businesses and members of the community for financial support, so that Ben’s family can attend the Games and help him bring home the gold.
Ben, who was raised here in Central Wisconsin, proudly lists Stevens Point as his address on his Olympic credentials. Ben wrestled for Stevens Point Area Senior High School for four years and graduated in 2009. He currently resides at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Ben has won gold, silver and bronze medals at a number of prestigious competitions worldwide, and now it is his goal is to win the gold in London at the Olympic Games. It is very important to Ben that his family is there to support him.
Now that Ben is on his way to the big stage of London, we need your help. As you know, keeping an athlete focused on his craft is not only a mental challenge, but a financial one as well. For Ben to be all he can be at the Olympics this summer, he needs the financial support from his family, friends, and his community. We hope you will consider helping Ben achieve the dream that every kid that steps out on the mat has ... a chance to shine as an Olympian, representing the United States of America.
Your donation is tax deductible. Please make your check payable to Sunkist Kid’s Wrestling Club with “Ben Provisor donation” in the memo. Donations can be mailed to the address at the top of this letter. For further information, feel free to contact me at (715) 341-1771.
Thank you in advance for your consideration and support. Please join me in helping Ben Provisor bring home the gold!
